Whose polluting in your area?
Who is polluting in your area ? check out this web site: http://www.scorecard.org/ for indepth information. People and companies who pollute are disrespectful lawless pigs who desire to inflict themselves on the rest of us who care. We don't own this planet. We have stewardship of this planet and it's resources, that is it. We have a responsibility to future generations to protect this planet when we can.

coupons and free stuff galore
Live Green And Save ! thats our motto. Did you know that many newspapers are on-line for free? Here is a link for lots of newspapers and magazines:http://www.drudgereport.com/
The site owner leans in one political direction, IMO, so I usually bypass the attention-grabbing headlines and go right to the links. Why bother wasting paper and money by subscribing the old fashioned way.

plant your own victory garden
This news story appeared in today's Chicago Tribune:
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/chi-perspec0301gardenmar01,0,7242582.story
and it deals with planting a garden for fresh fruits & veggies. During WWII victory gardens were prevalent. If you are new to growing your own, refer to the main site: http://www.livegreen4less.com for information on organic gardening, seeds, composting, etc. If your soil is shallow, as is in newer subdivisions, you can improve the quality of the soil. Read up and start planting.

Do you have any good money saving tips for groceries ? I have been shopping at Aldi and I save a ton of $$ Eggs 1.39/doz. good quality. Bring your own e-bag. Also, plan a good size garden and learn to dehydrate and can. Walmart is good for a lot of household items and clothing, not prom stuff though. Sox and undies and T's .

surviving the economy
Now more than ever it's important that we conserve and make the best use out of what we have on hand and available. Gardening, solar power, saving money, recycling and freecycling. It's time to plan your garden and may I suggest enlarging it ? Maybe you would like to raise backyard chickens. http://standeyo.com/NEWS/09_Food_Water/090218.urban.chickens.html
